Forever In Bluejean

1998 AQHA, IBHA, NFQHA (82%) Grulla mare HYPP N/N

We bought Blue as a yearling in 1999. She is sired by the grulla stallion, Spartacoos (x The Coosa Connection x Coosa) and is out of Bostons Windy ( x Boston Charmer x Boston Mac.) She stands about 16 hands, and has a great disposition. She has had three foals now, a grulla colt in 2002, a grulla filly in 2003, and another grulla filly in 2005. She has passed on nice size, color and muscle to her foals, and not one white foot on 3 foals! Although her foals have been sold, they can be seen on our For Sale page. Everyone who has met this mare LOVES her...Every photo we have of her are in 'pasture condition'. She's beautiful when she's fit. She's just as gorgeous when she's not. Blue is a nice mare to have around. She's pleasant and friendly, and likes to be pampered. She is an easy breeder, and easy foaler so far. She has so far always had large, well-built grulla foals. She is a good mom and easy keeper. Blue is not bred at this time. She is HYPP N/N. This girl definitely owns a piece of my heart!

Blue was started in January, 2004 by Renee Novotny of Blue Thunder Stables in Watertown, WI. She has been ridden on trails some, and two years recently on mounted patrol at the Midwest Horse Fair in Madison, WI.
